Sachi Kamiya

Hi, I am Sachi Kamiya ("Sachi" is pronounced like "Versace"). I started this website to share my general observations and learnings within the crypto space. As a founding member of Polygon Ventures, I led the 100MM ecosystem fund focused on growth across the defi/infra/web3/consumer projects. I was responsible for setting the initial framework for investing and growing the team. I also spearheaded and closed the 500MM raise led by Sequoia, Lightspeed, Softbank, Tiger, Galaxy Digital, and Dragonfly, among other notable VCs within the Web3 space. At Caltech, I majored in electrical engineering— I am a scientist at heart.

I joined Sentient as Director of Business Development and Operations.

In my free time, I travel the world. I speak three languages (Spanish, English, and Japanese).
